I could buy the whole cooler for about twice the price of this item, but then I would be adding my old one to the landfill. Coleman should do the right thing by the consumer and make replacement parts available at a decent price. unit I received was a plug in the outlet unit. no a/c power cord. works fine, but I have to use an extension cord to use it outside my travel trailor as the unit will not go into a weather proof outlet. This product was as advertised and was packaged well.Shipment was prompt and in the mail the next day.Price was the lowest I could find in stores as well ason the internet. I would buy again.
